Concurrent MAMC and MTS Degrees

The concurrent Master of Arts in Ministry for a Multicultural Church (MAMC) and Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degrees offer training in pastoral ministry along with academic theological research. The program is designed to take 3 years, as many of the curriculum requirements overlap. The goals of the concurrent MAMC/MTS degrees are the same as for the individual degrees. MAMC/MTS students are required to:

  • Complete 72 units as described in the curriculum below, nine (9) of which must be taken from a non-Catholic member school of the GTU
  • Engage in all field education and spiritual formation requirements
  • Maintain an overall 3.0 grade point average in all required and elective courses
  • Be enrolled in the school for 3 years (residency)
  • Complete all work within 6 years of the first semester of enrollment
