Former Student Association (FSA)
Our door is always open to our graduates.
We pride ourselves on our sense of community at the Franciscan School of Theology – and that community continues after you graduate. Welcome to our online alumni community. We recently created the St. Clare of Assisi Scholars program to provide ongoing support to our graduates’ ministries by making their return to FST for classes affordable.
In addition, we have created an FST Former Student Association (FSA) to help expand the community throughout the world. Former Students from Germany keep in touch with each other at a site maintained by Former Student Ludger Hamm at Die FST-Seite in Deutschland.
Please take a minute to complete our online contact form so we can let others know where you are and what you are doing. You may also use the form to let us know other ways that we might be of assistance to you.
St. Clare of Assisi Scholars
Go forth in peace, for you have followed the good road. Go forth without fear, for he who created you has made you holy, has always protected you, and love you as a mother. Blessed be you, my God, for having created me.
- St. Clare of Assisi
You are welcome here!
The Franciscan School of Theology is pleased to introduce the Saint Clare of Assisi Scholars program. SCA Scholars are graduates of FST who are seeking to renew their ministries, their careers, and their lives.
Head and Heart
Your thirst for knowledge and understanding didn’t end the day you received your diploma. We all need time for renewal and reflection. We also understand the limits on your time and your resources. That’s why the Franciscan School of Theology has made it easier and more affordable for you to return to the classroom to study and converse – here’s how:
Franciscan School of Theology Graduates
If you are a graduate of the Franciscan School of Theology, you are invited to attend an FST class for the reduced fee of $150 per class – a reduction of more than $1500 per class.
SCA Scholars may enroll in FST classes (a total of 6 credits, but no more than 3 credits per semester) on an audit basis with the permission of the professor.
GTU Library privileges are also available to FST graduates for a yearly fee. Please contact the GTU library at (510) 649-2501 or visit the GTU Library on the web for more information.
