         Bernard McGinn, The Flowering of Mysticism. Men and Women in the New Mysticism: 1200-1350 (New York: Crossroad, 1998).  An excellent source with in-depth research and a rich apparatus of notes and bibliography on Franciscan and other spiritualities.  Some readings from this book will be required: these will be made available on the Reserve Shelf in FST Library.
