Career Services
The Career Development Director, through the Office of Student Services, offers a range of career development and placement services to students and alumni.
Workshops and Panels
Career development workshops, designed to provide assistance with planning and implementing a job search, including resume writing, research, networking and interviewing, are offered on a regular basis. Panels that focus on various ministerial careers are arranged to allow Jesuit School alumni and other professionals the opportunity to share their experience with students.
Career Consulting
The Career Development Director is available to meet with students and alumni privately for career consulting and job search assistance. Alumni who are not located in the Bay Area may arrange to meet by telephone or through e-mail correspondence.
Job Announcements
The Career Development Director cultivates working relationships with dioceses throughout California and the United States, and maintains a listing of positions in ecclesial ministry and related fields. A newsletter that lists current job openings and career resources is distributed regularly, and is available in paper form or electronically from the Career Development Director. In addition, selected job opportunities are posted on this website, along with links to other websites with further career information. See Job Opportunities and Career Links.
