Sowers of Hope: An Immersive Day of Recollection in the Spirit of Laudato Si’

Join us for a day-long immersive retreat.

This will be an immersive retreat making a visit to the Tijuana River estuary on Saturday, May 10, from 9 am-5 pm. Br. Keith Warner, Associate Professor of Ethics and Spirituality, and Mark Ceder, the Director of Outdoor Adventures at USD, will lead the retreat, visiting four different sites along the river and taking time to fully experience what is happening, how the earth and neighborhoods are impacted, and reflect on how we can be pilgrims of hope.


Together, we will:
 🌿 Experience the land and water firsthand
 🏘️ Reflect on how environmental realities impact local communities
 🙏 Deepen our understanding of Laudato Si’ and our call to be pilgrims of hope

Cost: $15 per student
(Lunch and materials are included. The Student Leadership Team generously covers the remainder of the cost.)
