The Franciscan Speaker Series at Saint Brigid Parish’s Summer School of Prayer – Tuesdays, June and August 2023

We at the Franciscan School of Theology are excited to announce our collaboration in Saint Brigid Parish‘s Summer School of Prayer. This summer 2023, Join our Franciscan Scholars in a series of talks on spirituality and faith. The Speaker Series is scheduled Tuesdays in June and August 2023 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm PDT at Saint Brigid Parish Hall in San Diego, California.

  • June 20: A Franciscan Approach to Accompanying Young Adults, by Dr. Maureen Day, Ph.D.
  • June 27: Franciscan Remedies for the Spirit in An Age of Tribulations, by Dr. Joseph Chinnici, OFM, Ph.D.
  • August 1: Francis and Clare of Assisi and the Cross with Open Eyes, by Dr. Michael Blastic, OFM, Ph.D.
  • August 8: The Gospel of Luke and Wisdom Literature, by Angela Zautcke, Ph.D. Cand.
  • August 15: St. Francis the Traveler, by Dr. Juliet Mousseau, RSCJ, Ph.D.
  • August 22: How Did the Bible Physically Survive Throughout History?, by Dr. Florence Gillman, Ph.D., S.T.D.
